Evening - (2007) - Lajos KoltaiOk people, what is this movie about? Seriously. Because I don't know and I just watched it. I was reading some reviews and from what I can tell, they didn't get it either. I'm not going to try very hard to tell you what the plot was, aside from the fact that it's too confusing, but it doesn't matter because I'm not recommending it anyway!

e was. Was I supposed to be thinking oh what a sad, unfulfilling love story or oh that's sad she never lived her dream to be a singer? What was I supposed to take from the dying lady's children? I just didn't get it!! WHAT is it about? Not who are the people and what are they doing, but is it about love? friendship? family? death? regret? grief? Just look at some of these quotes from reviews of this movie. I am so glad I was not the only one feeling so lost watching this movie- in more ways than one.
On the upside, I still like Claire Danes. I think she's a good actress, but it's just sad she had to be in a lame movie. She did great though. And there were a lot of other pretty big actors in this movie, but still, there were so many, none of them got a chance to shine and I honestly didn't really care about them.
